Halloween #1 Luka Megurene

Happy Halloween! :D

My 1st Halloween costume/get-up was inspired by Luka Megurene

She is a VOCALOID, and if you don't know what that is, please google..

Everyone didn't know what I was, but I don't blame them cuz firstly, I did not

follow the costume to the tee, nor did I end up using her trademark headpiece :( 

Anyway, the following pics was my first attempt at dressing up as her.

I'm just taking a break (again) from my torture and sufferings. 

Havent stepped foot out of the house since yesterday. No sleep either.

Friends are camping at uni, but I prefer to do my work at the comfort of my own home..

I get to sing out loud while working and sometimes even break into a sudden dance XD

No kidding. I DO just break into a random dance once in a while to release my stress.

haha, sister's kinda used to it, and she'd just sing along to the music and laugh. lol.

Am really glad I live with my sister, she's so supportive and encouraging.

Hope you guys are having a much more happening and awesome weekend than mine...

And to those who went to the Grand Opening of Viva, hope you guys had a great time!

I heard there was a minor setback that caused a slight delay in getting in, don't blame

the organizers though, it was unexpected and yet they handled it very well :)

Apart from that hiccup, I'm glad everyone else still had an enjoyable time.

Anyways, I find myself very motivated to blog whenever i'm super stressed up with work.

and since i've been going at it for a whole day now, time to take a rest :D

As I've said before, I took the time to actually test out the different kinds of curls you could

achieve with the curling iron or the flat iron.

Results achieved by the CURLING IRON:

Results achieved by the FLAT IRON:

The Verdict?:
By using the curling iron, the most obvious difference is that the curls are more defined
and hair looks healthy and shiny. The flat iron however gives a more bohemian feel to
the curls, but shine is lost and style is not defined. I personally prefer the flat iron-ed side
as it doesn't look too made-up, it's more of a natural wave style. But that's my opinion..

epic fail in trying to wink smile. how do those gyaru models do it so effortlessly?

 And normally I'm not really into any of Girls' Generation's songs, but I'm really addicted

Procrastination at its best..

Rushing out my models and drawings before my class tomorrow

and yet here I am, just dying to make up any excuse just to take my eyes AWAY

from any archi-related designing software :( I've been continuously having late nights

for the past few days just so I can get my work done and hopefully that'll be enough to

please my tutor, who is gonna mark and critic my work.. Week after week I had wasted my time

doing very little or close to nothing and now when it's due in a week's time, I'm starting to panic! 

I'm almost done with my 3D model, which is good, means I can send that to the laser cutting soon

and my perspective views would all be settled. But then comes the tedious part, AUTOCAD! :(

Soon all this will be over, then comes my exams, then after that, my 

G-R-A-D-U-A-T-I-O-N!! :D

I will be sooo proud of myself for being able to complete my degree!

and hopefully, if all goes well, I'll be onto my path of gaining my Masters Degree in Architecture

haven't decided where yet, but I am aiming for Melbourne and if I'm reaaallly lucky, to America!

My ultimate dream is to atleast get a chance to study in the US, even if for just one term of 

exchange studies, that'll be enough for me. That's all I ask for! Please Please!!!

I need to stop living in the past and accept that the only thing I can do is look forward, towards

the unknown future. Even if the future may seem scary, that is the only path that I'm leading towards.

I have to know that time won't turn back for anybody, nor would it stop. Time waits for no one..

I am terrified of the future, terrified of what might be, but living in the past won't help anyone,

living in the past did not help me. Learn to move forward and embrace whatever that happens or

comes your way. Everything happens for a reason. Any opportunities or chances, 

take them and be grateful for them.

I'm not too sure if I'm too stressed out, or just really bored and sick of doing anymore

archi-related works, but I actually took the time and sat down infront of my dresser

and did 2types of curls, one using the straightener, and the other using the curling iron =.=

Vain-assed Post

As the title says, this post is just a compilation of all the self-shots i've accumullated

over this week :D I won't say I'm the prettiest person out there but I do have an

increased level of self-confidence whenever I'm out with my shitload of eyeliner applied on my eyes

and not to mention the pinkish/orangey blush that i have on my cheeks to give me an extra

boost of healthy colour into my skin and appearance. I have alot more to practise on in

perfecting my appearance but, so far I'm happy with it, considering how far i've come

from drawing my eyes that will ultimately smudge and turn me into a panda nearing

the end of the day. I wouldn't say I'm perfectly gorgeous, but I have taken the time to

improve myself. With that being said, I have completely no self-confidence in myself,

when I am WITHOUT makeup. Almost NEVER will you ever find me out and about without

my eyeliner, or even with specs. There are so many things I can find faults with myself 

and feel insecure about, so I just decide to take the extra time to make myself feel better :)

I do believe in natural beauty, but heck, I'm just not that kind of girl that HAS natural beauty.

There are gonna be some shots of me without makeup and with spectacles in this post

only cause I've chosen the "best" i could find amongst the hundreds that I've tried to pose for.

Finally started on my diet yesterday night.

Kinda late, but, better late than never...Reality hit me when my friend told me

I was getting fat! and also when I stood on the scales :( I only had apples for dinner

and yoghurt for supper. Seriously sooo UNsatisfying, but when I woke up this morning

to a flatter stomach, I felt happy. hahaha. I really can't be bothered going to the gym :(

I'm just so lazy to go to the gym, to sweat it all out. So I'd just take the easy way out and

starve!!! HAHA just kidding. I'm still eating healthy, just a lot less. Like cutting out all those

late night suppers, McDonalds and all those salty fried foods. Gonna go all healthy

and bland :( Torture and Sufferings, here i come...

Decided to make this entry less unappealing by updating on recent events :D

Celebrated Katrina's 21st Birthday on Friday at KBox :)

Lovely times. Just not very enjoyable for me cuz I couldn't sing!

I was still recovering from my sickness that I caught on since Tuesday

but it's totally good now, feeling so much better now. Just a little bit of a cold still,

but no more sore throat. yipee :D

Don't know if you can tell by the picture but, I'm actually getting into the

sock-in-shoes trend. haha, friends laughed at how ridiculous my socks were

but I still think they look great and cool. Am buying more pairs of socks online

and scouring around town for more adorable ones, different colors and textures :D

It's great for the weather now, plus it also adds comfort to the shoes you're wearing.

Heels don't feel as uncomfortable as before, now with that extra comfort from them socks.
