Short Entry?

As you all know, it's been almost close to 2months since my term break in July, and I went back to Malaysia. I have just gotten around editing some of the pics, but not all of them. This update is super late but just thought I'd share some nice places I visited in Singapore with my family, and a few shopping haul pictures that might interest some readers.

Full detailed entries will be coming soon, but for now, it's just pictures to make this entry visually interesting :]

Massive haul from Sasa :) I love shopping at Sasa back in Malaysia / Singapore because everything's so much cheaper than if I get them from the online store. Not really sure why, maybe cuz of the currency I guess.

Anyway, out of the lot, my favouritest product would have to be the 2 Kate Eyeshadow / Eyebrow Pallette.

Have been using them alternately, depending on my mood, to use on my eyes. FYI, I no longer use eyeliner to line my eyes cuz I find it to be too harsh for day-time make up. The colors from this pallete are sooo pretty! It shines and is really opaque as well :)

Earthy Tones

I love the highlight color for this one. It looks silver, but it actually comes out really shiny and non grey :D

You're Beautiful / He's Beautiful

I just spent my entire 2days finishing off this superbly addictive Korean drama! It's ranked TOP 3 all-time dramas on mysoju.com. It came out pretty long ago, but I only bought it when I was back in Malaysia and finally got round to watching it. Friggin' awesome characters! LOADS of eye candy plus the characters are all so energetic, fresh and charismatic! ESPECIALLY the leading guy! aaahhhh :D

Everytime I start watching, I'll have lots to complain about the drama, whether it being too overdramatic, or their acting's so fake, etc. etc. But i was totally sucked into this one! I don't know why. The drama i'm talking about is called "You're Beautiful"

Don't really have to write a summary of the drama here, just google it. It's SUPER popular!!! My blog's playlist has just been edited with almost all of their soundtracks :D I love the songs in this drama, very very "korean"

The lead actor, Jang Geun Seok, is FRIGGIN' FRIGGIN handsome!!! Yes he wears eyeliner, but totally hot and sexy in it. charismatic & charming & cute & kind & lovessss the lead actress, Park Shin Hye, soooo much! the growth of their relationship is just tooo adorable to NOT watch it, you'd get hooked! I watched this from last night all the way till 7am this morning, unfortunately causing me to miss my extra class today on Autocad skills =.=

The Characters:
1. Jang Geun Seok (Hwang Tae Kyung)

Sooo handsomeee!! hahahah :D I prefer his hairsytle when he has it all up! super stylish! boyfiee did that hairstyle before, looked extremely cute and hot as well!! In fact, I find that boyfiee's eyebrows resemble his :D charminggg! I extremely love his character! Although I personally don't think that this character exists in real life, there are a few resemblances I see in my boyfiee which i really love :D His character is totally loveable cuz he lovesss the lead actress, and yet doesn't show it directly to her but secretly helps her out. sweeett~! and whenever he shows that super cute smile (the first picture) whenever he achieves something or finds out that Go Mi Nam gives him perfect 100 when asked how much does she like him, superrr cute! I think everyone, after watching this drama will definitely love him! :D

2. Park Shin Hye (Go Mi Nam)

She's the lead actress that plaus both as Go Mi Nam and Go Mi Nyu (their identicle twins). She's actually rather pretty and is the spokesperson for Etude House! Her character is very gentle and and she's kind towards eveybody. Always puts others before herself, and sometimes too trusting. Her love for Tae Kyung is what makes this show enjoyable to watch. With their small bickerings here and there, it's just too cute!

Park Shin Hye and Jang Geun Seok as spokes models for Etude House :D how adorable are they?! They look so good as a couple, rumours are they're even couples in real-life, don't know how true that is, but if it is, that's awesome!

3. Jung Hyong Hwa (Kang Shin Woo)

He's a rather good-looking chap, not really my taste. His character in this show sorta reminds me of Ji Hoo in Boys Before Flowers, you know, those really soft and gentle kinds that falls in love with the lead actress but doesn't mind that the lead actress is actually head over heels in love with the lead actor and in fact although gets rejected many times still continues to love the lead actress? hahaha, typical korean drama (actually MOST dramas) plot. Not to offend any of his fans, but I find his character the most boring and least interesting out of the 3 main actors. :S

4. Lee Hong Ki (Jeremy)

This guy here is a singer from the band FT Island and I actually find his character very cute and adorable as well. He's the really cute type of guys with a huge sense of humor and loves making everyone laugh, especially the lead actress. Yes, you probably guessed it, HE TOO falls in love with the lead actress. In fact, EVERYONE falls in love with the lead actress. haha!

Overall, I'm now seriously in the withdrawal symptom stage from this drama, just finished the last episode i think 3hours ago, and have been sitting here finding for their OST and pictures for wallpaper. I'm in loveeee with Tae Kyung!!! hahaha.

RATING: 8/10
Short of 2marks cuz the best korean drama for me is still boys before flowers, and since that got a 9/10 for me, so definitely this is 8/10. It has comedy and romance in it, but I just wished the series didn't end that quickly! should've had more more more episodes!! THEY DEFINITELY SHOULD HAVE A SEQUEL FOR THIS DRAMA !

And recently, countless of online shops are opening up on FACEBOOK! And how lucky am I to have been given the opportunity to actually do a review for the color contact lens. This Facebook-based online shop is very legitimate and has provided excellent services to all their clients, just check out their FACEBOOK PAGE by clicking HERE. They are a Melbourne based shop but ships overseas as well. Their delivery was super quick and service and communication is very efficient. They are friendly and very helpful.

They sent me 2 pairs to review. Have been wearing one of them for almost 2months now and I have no problems with it at all :D

This lenses are HUGE!

Diameter: 16.0mm (normal colored contact lenses that give slight enlargement is only 14.6~14.8mm)
please do NOT be afraid of the diameter!! it is not scary at all!

Water Content: 48% (that is much higher than other brands like geo, dueba etc. that only has 38%)

The color is slightly less brown that I'd like it to be. Does give off abit of a grey-ish look. but, nevertheless, still very very pretty :D

NEVER store the colored contact lenses with the provided liquid, it is NOT suitable for storing. 

ALWAYS SOAK the lenses in SALINE SOLUTION before putting them on!!

See? The large diameter does not give you a very "scarily-enlarged-eyes". In fact, I LOVE how big it makes my eyes look. It may get abit of used to if you are changing from the Geo Angel which is only 14.8mm in diameter, but the effect of this 16.0mm lenses is much better and really gives you that Dolly-Eyed look. I am impressed and VERY MUCH in love with it! :D

the BEFORE picture was taken months ago. It was one of the few "non-makeup" pictures I took.

HUGE DIFFERENCE!!

The huge difference in the water content of this lens, IMO, makes this pair of lenses super comfortable to wear. They don't get dry as quickly as other brands I've used like Geo Angel series or Geo Nudy series.

Obviously, because I wear them everyday, and most times I exceed the suggested time of 8-HOURS, so they tend to feel dry after long hours of wear.

There is this one incident, that SHOULD NOT be followed by anyone, that I slept with the contact lens while I was on the plane back to Singapore. Wore it for the whole day + slept with it + took it off the next day afternoon = MORE THAN 24HOURS of wear, it felt soooo dry but eye drops made it better.

AND yet, even after that crazily long amount of hours of wearing them, my eyes did NOT get infected or anything.

Overall, I've been wearing these lenses since June till now, August. It's been almost 3months to be exact and I have NO PROBLEMS with this lens at all!

MY RATING:

• Comfort: 4/5 (I hardly ever feel dry except after over 9~10 hours of wearing them)
• Enlarged-Eyes Effect: 5/5 (I LOVEEE this size! it is sooo naturally big :D)
• Overall Rating: 4.5/5

Just stick to the recommended 8 HOURS of contact lens wearing, and these pair of contact lens will be perfect for those that want those dolly doll-eyed-looking-eyes :D

White iPhone 4!!!

oh nooo!! More delay news for the White iPhone 4 again!!
At first, according to US news, Steve Jobs said the white iPhone 4 will be out mid july or end of july, which meant sometime approximately mid August for Australia.
But now, it seems he has now announced that it'll be released sometime later of the year! holy SHIT!!

Omg!!

I just got back home from a surprise date from my baby :)

Had dinner at Kobe Jones@Docklands and it was a wonderful dinner!

But more on that later. This is just a short update.

I am not kidding! It's sooo intense, exciting, and it really gets you to rack your brains.

hahahha, even now I'm still thinking about it, whether anything I think about the movie is right. lol!

Anyways, Leonardo Dicaprio is the BEST actor ever i think! He can act sooo well and you really feel what he is acting out. A true wonderful, versatile actor! I still remember I LOVED him as Jack Dawson in TITANIC!!! hahahha! That movie was epic!

To make matters worse, on top of my sickness, I've got a 10am lecture tomorrow and I thought it was at 12!! :( and to add further on to my misery, my audition that takes place during the first week of lesson is TOMORROW!!! I'm still sick for goodness sake! how to sing??? :(

Please prayyy for me! I need to get into this subject! So I can bring up my average! I intend to go on a bridging programme!! Pls don't fail me now vocal chords!!

Happy Father's Day n Happy Birthday to Jasper! :D

Almost every year, my brother's, Jasper, birthday falls on Father's Day. I used to always make a joke to myself (well not really a joke more like just a comment la) that the next time he gets married, he can just celebrate his birthday + Father's Day together. hahahah (lame =.=)

Anyway, recently my mom has been posting up huge loads of our young photos up onto her facebook (don't bother trying to search for her, you can't find her on facebook) and it has really made me feel all nostalgic and really home sick for some moments. I remember when we were young, we always go on family trips and cuz we're so young and stupid, we laugh and play together almost everytime. lol!
But as time goes by, one by one we all grow up, and the games and stuff we used to do just gets outdated and sooner or later, we just don't do it together anymore. For example, roller blading :(

Anyway, I wanna spend this time to dedicate this entry to both my Father and my brother!

My daddy has always been there for me. He loves us and takes care of us in his own way, very subtle but never short of love and tenderness. My daddy may seem to be a fierce man, but he is infact the funniest dad I have ever encountered. I've seen dads TRYING to be funny and tell jokes, but no offence, their jokes just suck as.

I know my father loves me alot, because no matter what i choose to do with my life, no matter how stupid or time consuming it is, my daddy still supports me and only wants me to be happy. I'm really touched and I really am very proud to have such a wonderful daddy!

No matter the age gap that we have (not that many years also la) but we still are close and loving. I remember this one time, i shouted at Jasper over a Yupi! Burger and after that I cried and felt so bad. I was super young and stupid. I was saving the last piece of Yupi!Burger, the bun part of the burger for Melissa, and Jasper wanted to take to eat it, but i shouted at him saying that it was for Melissa!

lol, I guess i love Melissa alot, cuz she was coming back from a camping trip i think, but not that I didn't love Jasper, it was just I was young and stupid. lol. Melissa didn't even eat the burger i think, I ended up eating it =.=

But anyway, back to the point. I felt soooo bad till I can even remember it till now. Must've been very traumatic for myself. haha. Don't know Jasper remember or not.

But Happy Birthday anyway, and I love you too :D

Exams!!!

I've been neglecting this blog! Yes it's that time again where exams are just around the corner (next Friday is my first paper) and it's during these such times that I have the sudden urge to update my blog =.= How ironic is that. Whenever I have all the time in the world, I'd just end up NOT updating my blog because I find I've got tooo much time for myself to do that. However, when I'm crammed up and jammed up with so much stuff to read and study, I find myself wanting to exercise my fingers and update my blog with silly ramblings.

Exams are seriously a pain in the arse! I stay up late every single day and sleep whenever the sun rises and wake up when the sun sets =.= Then I head to the library with my boyf and study till it closes. It's an ongoing cycle that has become my habit now. AND! Whenever I study, I just LOVE to eat snacks like these:

 

Deli Honey Soy Chicken Potato Chips

Sour Squirms

Doritos Nacho flavoured

All these snacks!! (Yes I Googled the images) and I normally eat more than 1packet of the sour squirms! All these plus late nights studying plus stress = MASSIVE SIZED ZITS on FOREHEAD AND NOSE!!! :(

I can't even scratch or move my nose properly because that huge ass zit hurts everytime I move it. 

I dugged out some of my old photos. Was browsing through them and I suddenly realised I am getting older and older every day! My skin is not as youthful or smooth or radiant as before. Now I have huge pimples popping up here and there, large pores + blackheads + dark eye bags! Not only is my complexion worse, so is my hair! My hair is dry and dull as hell. It lacks lustre and not bouncy or shiny at all!

Shiny, healthy hair! Better complexion (comparing to mine now) :(

Albeit I look like crap here, but I find this picture rather nice cuz it shows the glow of my complexion off that shine on my nose. hahahaha. and NO it's not oily!
