#CNOS3 Challenge 3 - SPCA Charity Sale
Last Saturday was our 3rd Challenge for the Cathay Cineleisure's Next Online Sensation. And I must say, it was the MOST EXTREMELY TIRING, YET FULFILLING THING I've EVER DONE!!
Not only did my whole body ached right after the event (in fact, even during the event I was starting to ache), but my body and mind were drained as well. Talked SOOO MUCH to like SOOO MANY people that I really felt so drained...
BUT!! Everything I did was alll worth it because, this sale was to help out the adopted charity, SPCA!! I loveee my dog so much, I'm more than happy to help out with ALL I CAN for these furry (and non-furry) animals!
SPCA = Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
PLEASE!!! DO ALL YOU CAN FOR THESE POOR ANIMALS! GIVE THEM A HOME! GIVE THEM SHELTER! GIVE THEM FOOD! AND MOST OF ALL, GIVE THEM LOVE!!!

MY TEAM! We called ourselves #WONDERWOW (cuz we are Team 1 and we are just awesome that's why!)
This event was sponsored by NETS #YONOFLASHPAY, where they generously gave $300SGD to each team where we are to buy items ONLY from Cathay Cineleisure and to sell them BACK to the public, in turn to make a PROFIT which would all be donated to the SPCA!

Here's an easier way of understanding our task of the day...
- BUY $300 worth of items from Cathay Cineleisure
- Set up a booth and start selling your items to the public from 3pm-6pm
- ALL profits made WILL be donated to the SPCA!
- HIGHEST amount reached, wins the challenge!
I would say, me and my team worked our butts off for this! Cause we feel really passionate for this cause and we went around emailing our sponsors for help/offers/vouchers or anything they can sponsor us for a higher chance of earning more!
And we are SUPER LUCKY because our sponsors felt just as much as we did for these poor animals! And we indeed did get a tonne of stuff from our sponsors!

Having the #YonoFlashpay card is SUPER CONVENIENT. Especially if your hands are full, all you gotta do is whip out your card and flash it and you're done!
To give you an idea of just how convenient this is, I was buying the items ALONE! And I still could manage to PAY AND TAKE PICTURES of me paying.
Talk about being handy and convenient!

Once all items were bought, finally we head on down to the booth where TseLyn is already HARD AT WORK setting up the booth! After a few minutes, TADAH!! HERE'S OUR BOOTH!
These were our "BUNDLE BAGS" where the bag was bought from Muji for $2.90SGD and we stamped the letters on it by ourselves! Giving it a touch of personal flair~~
The other team beside us had a group of cosplayers to draw attention!

We were very pleased with our selling tactics!!
From the moment the sale started, our booth wasn't doing very well unfortunately :( Everybody found our prices too high! But our tactic was to still keep it at that price but have a selling point where we say this "Our prices are high, but we compensate it with as many freebies as we could get for your purchase to thank you for helping out SPCA!"
Geng or not?! And it actually works!! (plus also we bribed them with free bottles of Listerine! haha)
Towards the last few minutes of sale, it was frantic, we were running to the cashiers to get the cash in!!
So once the clock struck 6, the sale ended and the tallying of the amount collected from each team was calculated. This took about 15-20mins and what do we do while waiting??
